Watch this AI / Machine Learning Basketball Hoop
I think it's super cool... because it goes into stuff that if we had some of the machining tools to make the metal case, we could actually do much of what he did... So in a google classroom assignment, do the following:
        • Watch the video
        • List all the skills and tech he used, that we did or talked about in class... Like 3D printing, or Arduino code... any way make a list of what skills or tech he needed to solve this.
        • Pay attention to the math he used... while it's complex, see how he breaks it down into very small problems, which makes it much easier to solve.
        • Tell me about "ballistic" trajectory, and how did he used it.
        • How much time does he have to calculate every thing?
        • Why did he have to think about mass and acceleration?  What was the problem he was trying to overcome?
        • How many points do you need to define a plane?
